How to Take a Screenshot on iPhone

iPhone with Face ID

If you have a modern iPhone (like the iPhone 13, 14, 15, or 16 series) without a Home button:

  1. Open the app, document, or image you want to capture.
  2. Press the Side Button (on the right) and the Volume Up button (on the left) at the exact same time.
  3. Quickly release both buttons.
  4. A thumbnail of your screenshot will temporarily appear in the lower-left corner of your screen. Tap it to edit or swipe left to dismiss it.
